Are you our next Children's Programs Supervisor?
***Team ARC is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a passion for delivering & supervising a range of diverse and innovative children's and youth programs and services including: Kid's Get Active Holiday program, Creche, Birthday Parties, Play Active and Bandicoots Play Centre whilst working in close collaboration with Sports team offering junior coaching clinics and social sports, providing an exceptional customer experience. This newly created position will be critical in the planning, development, and delivery of Children's Programs at Cockburn ARC with opportunity to expand offerings and programs further. We are looking for an exceptional Children's Programs Supervisor to support our front-line team, setting them up for success in their day-to-day operations.

With a strong background and passion for working with children from babies to youth, including innovative programming experience, you will be providing exciting, engaging, and fun participation and learning opportunities for our youngest ARCers.

You understand the importance of early childhood experiences and brain development to provide the foundation for skills and abilities that kids need for success at school and life.


You're a great leader and team player


You're someone who supports your team through on the job training, coaching, and managing team performance, whilst driving the Children's Programs portfolio to be best practise across everything we do.

You will be the first escalation point for the Children's Programs team, liaising with members, customers, and children, to provide outstanding customer experience, learning opportunities and programs.


You will also liaise with the Sports and Programs Senior Team Leader, Sports Supervisors, and the Leadership team to ensure alignment with strategy and policies and procedures are consistent and effective across the organisation.

To become our Children's Programs Supervisor, you will have:

  • An energetic, vibrant, and outgoing approach with great communication skills
  • Be an innovative leader with experience supervising and working with a team of professionals in a children's programs environment
  • A passion for child development and experience programming to drive participation across all ages from babies to youth
  • A motivated, friendly, and engaging nature.
  • A positive attitude to work and achieving goals in a team environment
  • The ability to adapt to processes, new technology and troubleshoot
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with conflict in an appropriate manner
  • Drive to deliver our service vision "outstanding service people talk about".
  • Completed a diploma level qualification in a related field with relevant workrelated experience and training

Salary:
$75,137 - $80,143
per annum, depending on qualifications and experience plus superannuation up to 15%.


Hours:
The role is full time (76 hours per fortnight), with work over weekdays and occasional weekends.
