Phillip Riley Projects (PRP) are a resourcing partner for leading renewable energy projects across Australia.

Our team ensures the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to help develop, deliver and manage complex projects and assets in the energy sector, including wind, solar and transmission projects.

We are currently seeking multiple Mechanical Fitters for a Full-Time immediate start for our client who is a global manufacturer, supplier and O&M of industrial gearboxes.

They have recently expanded across Australia and have various workshops based across the country.

This position will be based in their workshop in Perth WA working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week with plenty of opportunity for overtime due to current work demands.

There is also an opportunity for Field Service work within the Renewable space on Wind Farms as well as other industries.

The Role

You will be responsible for overhauling, inspecting and repairing gearboxes and other industrial equipment for both industrial and renewable projects.

Trade qualified as a Mechanical Fitter/Automotive LV/HV Mechanic (Essential)
Technical ability to read engineering drawings and workshop measuring equipment (Essential)
Basic Computer Skills (Essential)
High Risk Work Licence
Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Crane (Desirable)
Experience working on any Wind Farms or Heavy Industry
High Safety Standard
