About the Project - Upper South Creek Project

New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Project Safety Advisor to join our Upper South Creek project team, based on-site in Kemps Creek, NSW.

This position will assist in supporting the Work, Health and Safety function under general supervision and implement safety practices, systems and procedures.

Developing and reviewing SWMS and Safe Work Instruction in line with legislative requirements
Reporting site safety performance inline with Project OHS management systems
Maintaining and implementing the Project's WHS policy, management plans, systems and procedures
Support stakeholder groups and teams within area of responsibility such communicating with frontline employees and frontline managers
Conducting regular site inspections, reviews and audits to schedule
Incident reporting and investigation
Providing guidance and safety support to the Project Team
Conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and corrective action follow ups.

To be successful:

Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar role
Significant experience within Safety teams, preferably on large Civil Construction, Mining or Infrastructure Projects
Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills
