About the Opportunity
There are two vacancies available, one is operations focused, and one is project support focused.


The HR Consultant is responsible for undertaking administrative activities relating to recruitment, selection, appointment, on boarding and other employee lifecycle related administrative processes to ensure a smooth experience for Public Trustee employees.

The role will provide oversight of position management, assisting managers with staffing movements against budgeted FTE and prepare regular and timely reports to Executive.

The HR Consultant will also provide consultancy services and advice on a range of employment conditions and associated matters.


About the Business
The Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) is a business unit of the Attorney-General's Department. The Public Trustee was established in 1881 and is constituted under the provisions of the Public Trustee Act 1995.


The Public Trustee plays an important role in managing the personal, legal and financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs.

The Public Trustee also provides eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.

The Public Trustee is located in a prime CBD location, with offices looking out over Victoria Square.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
