Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daytoday operations of a SIL house, including rostering, staff supervision and training, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, NDIS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement individual support plans and behaviour support plans for clients with input from the SIL Manager, NDIS Support Coordinators and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and ensure the delivery of highquality services and supports, consistent with NDIS goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure the provision of culturally appropriate and sensitive services to clients, with a focus on their individual needs and preferences.
  • Manage client incidents and complaints in accordance with the company's incident reporting and management policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, their families, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure that the services and supports provided meet their needs and expectations.
  • Promote the company's values and philosophy in all interactions with clients, staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in the disability sector, preferably in a SIL or group home environment.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, and experience in implementing and monitoring quality systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients, staff and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
  • Sound understanding of the principles of personcentred support and a commitment to promoting the rights, dignity and autonomy of clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
