Role Responsibilities
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Ensuring the correct amount of inventory is available within the business.
- Receiving orders and checking against the purchase order, stock, and inventory records ensuring goods are receipted accurately.
- Process supplier returns and redelivery process.
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and processing.
- Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability specifically for Projects.
- Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and outofstock (OOS).
- Analysing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
- Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
- Performing regular physical stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
- Assist with routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones as well as assisting customers and company staff as required.
- Adherence to company safety policies, procedures and values.
- Compliance with Quality Management System.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to QMS.
- Ensure changes to the QMS are planned and implemented.
- Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained during changes.
- Ensure that responsibilities and authorities relating to the QMS are communicated and understood.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Proven experience in inventory control and warehousing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- An analytical mind with problem solving skills.
- Proven experience in supervising employees.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers to secure long lasting and profitable partnerships.
- A team player but selfmotivated with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
Desirable
- ERP Systems experience
- Ability to read Engineering Assembly Drawings
- Leadership Skills
- Supervising Employees
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$ $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
