- Provide advice & consultancy services across a range of indirect tax matters
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients and managing the client ledgers
- Working collaboratively with the tax team and also across the BDO business
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and being able to identify opportunities to add value
- Developing new client relationships and identifying opportunities to acquire new work
- Assist with training and development of the indirect tax team
- 6+ years' experience in either GST or state taxes
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Law
- Demonstrated experience working in a Professional Services, Legal firm, state-based Revenue Office or the ATO
- Excellent client advisory and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to lead and mentor junior staff

We are currently seeking a Managerto join our Indirect Tax team in Brisbane. You will be given thechance to work with a multi-disciplinary team of tax professionalsthat have exceptional technical and industry knowledge (in yourchosen area of interest). It's a unique opportunity for thoseinterested in navigating various aspects of indirect tax anddeveloping a wide range of skills while working with clients onfederal and state tax matters like goods and services tax (GST),fuel tax credits, stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax.
