    Job Description

    The roles we are recruiting for in Maroochydore include;

    • Graduate Civil Engineer – Highways
    • Graduate Civil Engineer – Water

    Graduate Civil Engineer – Highways

    Work on projects from initial concept through to construction and operation, fulfilling diverse design, project management, stakeholder engagement, business innovation as well as technical and site assurance Role. Every project faces unique challenges, and we take pride in developing inspired, sustainable solutions for our clients. Our collaborative and integrated approach allows us to create, rehabilitate and maintain many of the world's iconic roadways.​

    Graduate Civil Engineer – Water

    Working with a high performing team of engineers, designers and drafters with a passion for digital delivery and embracing new technology, you will support leadership in delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors including local councils, defence, state government advisory, health, renewables, aviation and municipal infrastructure. ​

    You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with best-in-industry peers across our organisation to create whole-of-business success for projects in transportation, buildings, environment and construction services.

    Our Graduate Program

    Our Growing Professional Skills (GPS) graduate program is designed to help you bridge the gap between formal education and the workplace. The program is spread across two years, drawing on a range of personal development activities, exposure to other graduates and business leaders, and a range of topics designed to grow your business and professional skills.

    Along with local site visits, technical seminars, mentoring, and internal and external training, AECOM connects you with leading local and global networks that help you learn, grow, and develop.

    As an added incentive, your involvement in the GPS program is fully endorsed for those seeking Professional accreditation. If you decide to do additional studies, we will help you examine your options and identify areas of specialisation to support you in your career.

    Qualifications

    • Undertaking a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
    • You will need to have graduated before June 2025
