Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager in this undeniably successful organisation, this is a unique opportunity to bring your passion for performance marketing and to develop and implement a 'best in class' in-house performance capability strategy that will see continued results.


What you will do in an average week:
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for bringing 'in house' and then heading up all things performance marketing, including the paid social and organic acquisition channels for a portfolio of retail brands and for driving profitable growth and results within


This will see you:

  • Work at a handson and influential level taking the lead in the management and building of the performance marketing, strategies and initiatives for a large portfolio of retail brands across SEO, SEM and paid social
  • As the knowledge expert, you will develop digital strategies for the acquisition channels and provide advice and guidance to the organisation on acquisition strategies and tactics
  • Conduct daily analysis and optimisation of campaigns across all retail websites, ensuring strong performance of each, whilst growing the social and search and capability to ensure rankings and results are at or above industry standards
  • Identify new opportunities to test, learn and maximise performance
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for the channels as well as external agency partners

Hands on experience: managing paid social and search performance (with a focus on eCommerce) where you have been the forefront of the latest paid growth initiatives

Expertise in: systems, processes and programs relative to growth marketing; in fact you know all about 'best practice' in this domain

A track record: in managing budgets effectively and fearlessly with the ability to generate ideas that can be tested rapidly to challenge ways of working

Strong business acumen: You have experience managing marketing ROI, budgets and planning digital spend

Proven management and communication skills: You are a born leader that people love to follow. You can translate the 'digital vision' into day-to-day operational performance and follow through with the execution
