Description
The position is client-facing and will manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing clients.

This involves ensuring our clients' H&B needs are identified and met through consulting on group and medical insurance and other benefits advisory services.


The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Support other Client Relationship Managers with portfolio management as needed
  • Negotiate terms with providers on behalf of your clients that meet their requirements such as renewals, claims and any other broking support services
  • Conducting remarketing of programs and provision of consulting updates (market updates, legislative changes, benchmarking, and best market practice)
  • Placement/establishment of the policy/program and management of annual renewal processes
  • Managing administrative responsibilities of the portfolio through accurate, efficient and timely responses to daytoday queries and policy documentation
  • Conduct education sessions for employees and employers on H&B insurance policies/programs
  • Provide input to new business opportunities to support growth and profitability
  • Work with the nominated opportunity/tender team and provide input as per agreed tender timelines
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of market trends, legislation changes, vendors, and capacity within the industry
  • Undertake continued professional training and ensure compliance with the provisions of RG14
  • Assist with various H&B projects

The Requirements

  • Industryrelated qualifications and a relevant business degree are desirable
  • Compliance with ASIC RG146 or willingness to complete training on commencement
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Medical, General and Life insurance market
  • Ability to manage client relationships including at HR Director/CFO level
  • Broad understanding of employee benefit offerings inclusive of wellness programs
  • Sound oral and written communication skills both on an individual and small group basis
  • Broad understanding of business, legal, economic, and financial services environment
  • Prior experience in the H&B market is desirable
