ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) Construction Manager

(Base in Mel, Flexible in locations)

_Goal of this function:
_

The ITS Construction Managers function is leading the delivery of our major projects within Australia. The Manager will be responsible for coordinating key projects and work with local teams to ensure success. The Manager is required to build, maintain and lead a team of skilled resources, whilst working closely with other divisions within the business.
Our aim is to maintain continuous improvement processes that ensure our business is a global leader in Intelligent Transport Systems. To support this the Manager needs to maintain close and collaborative relationships with all internal departments, such as business development, procurement, solutions, products as well as other delivery teams. The expectation is also to be involved in governance process and management of projects. As required, the Manager will support business development (including tendering) and with growth opportunities.
Stakeholders include, but not limited to, customers, Yunex Traffic Management team and departments, Yunex Traffic-Hub team in Singapore, Yunex Traffic HQ (Germany, UK, US), dealers, subcontractors, associations, partners, general contractors, etc.
An ability to work independently is a key function of the role due breadth of the market and portfolio offered by Yunex Traffic.
What are the responsibilities?
Lead the delivery of projects in Australia, whilst working collaborative with the local teams, i.e. Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong plus others as required
Build and develop skills essential to major ITS projects to ensure success, including cofunctional teams.
Continual improve business processes for the market that each of the local teams may adopted to improve pretendering responses and/or coordinate resourcing priorities;
Provide market knowledge relating to deliver of major projects, such as customers, competitors, competing products and solutions (if applicable);
Promote the entire Yunex Traffic product, solutions and portfolio related to major ITS projects;
Monitor trends in project performance, quality and budgets report to the management team as required;
Keep up to date with Yunex Traffic's portfolio of products and services, in order to be and remain able to explain and demonstrate to clients the key features of our products and services;
Adhere to Yunex guidelines in terms of pricing, contract and payment terms, compliance, and business conduct guidelines.

_Requirements_

Familiar with the ITS Industry fields relevant to the Australia and New Zealand market and aligns to Yunex's business structure of Urban, Highways, Tunnels, and Tolling for min. 7 years
Active in a similar related role(s) for at least 8 years
Education / University degree aligned to the requirements of the role
