The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Training Specialist to support our customer training programs.

As a Training Specialist, you will provide the full spectrum of training support for our current and emerging customer training programs.

Responsibilities:

Analyse customer training requirements and develop innovative, relevant and engaging technical training support solutions to meet their needs
Design, develop and implement tailored training programs, materials and assessments using contemporary and emerging methodologies
Evaluate new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to training support system design, development and delivery for internal and external customers
Review training products to ensure that they comply with commercial, government, regulatory and organisational standards, specifications, processes and procedures as applicable

Experience/Qualifications

Essential:

Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation of complex technical training programs
Experience with multimedia development, editing and production
8+ years' experience in training design and development
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively under limited supervision in a fastpaced environment
Ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes
Highly developed written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements

Desirable:

Experience with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) or a Defence Training background
Develop innovative, relevant and engaging training solutions
High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
