The opportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Training Specialist to support our customer training programs.
As a Training Specialist, you will provide the full spectrum of training support for our current and emerging customer training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse customer training requirements and develop innovative, relevant and engaging technical training support solutions to meet their needs
- Design, develop and implement tailored training programs, materials and assessments using contemporary and emerging methodologies
- Evaluate new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to training support system design, development and delivery for internal and external customers
- Review training products to ensure that they comply with commercial, government, regulatory and organisational standards, specifications, processes and procedures as applicable
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation of complex technical training programs
- Experience with multimedia development, editing and production
- 8+ years' experience in training design and development
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively under limited supervision in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes
- Highly developed written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements
Desirable:
- Experience with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) or a Defence Training background
- Develop innovative, relevant and engaging training solutions
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
