About the role:


Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, and as an introduction to your successful sales career, the main focus of the
Trainee Sales Representative will be to work closely with the Sales Team to gain business knowledge and to promote all CLAAS Harvest Centre products and services.

Over time with your honest, courteous, and helpful nature you will develop and sustain enduring customer relationships by delivering the CLAAS Harvest Centre promise in a professional manner

Responsibilities:


  • Work alongside a supportive sales team to learn how to represent products and services, using consumer research and deep comprehensive knowledge of how solutions meet the needs of customers
  • Interact with customers throughout the sales process, from initial outreach until purchase is finalised
  • Achieve sales goals by generating new leads and by assessing our current clients' needs by following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations
  • Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
  • Assist with organising and to attend sales activities such as industry events, demonstrations, and field days
  • To complete all paperwork with accuracy associated with the selling process
  • To participate in training and development opportunities including courses, as per your development plan

Requirements:


  • Agricultural knowledge and background with a passion for machinery and agriculture
  • The willingness to learn and embrace new experiences to develop your expertise
  • Good decisionmaking abilities and negotiation skills and/or to build on improving these skills
  • Valid driver's licence with flexibility to travel as required
  • High standard of written and verbal communication
  • Proficient with Office 365 and system savvy
