Job description
This well-established Australian owned and operated Transport Company is seeking an experienced Fleet Controllers/ Operation Managers and Allocators. In the role you will be responsible for the coordination of local and regional transport for a major client.


Duties & responsibilities include:


  • Planning and allocation of deliveries
  • Driver's run sheets/time sheets
  • Liaising with customer and drivers
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls
  • Creating transport routes based on business and customer needs
  • Assist with general admin tasks
  • Developing and maintaining relationships and rapport with all staff and drivers

Experience & skills required:


  • Previous experience as a Transport Allocator
  • Knowledge of the Sydney metro area
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise driver runs
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Driven and passionate about the transport industry

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
