Nexus Project Group, located in St Peters NSW, is an insurance builder seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Building (Restoration) Technician to join our team.


Tasks and Duties:

  • Undertaking site surveys to determine nature and scope of works to be undertaken, using specialised instruments to collect data.
  • Inspecting work and materials for compliance with regulations, specifications, and standards.
  • Conducting site measurements, moisture surveys and taking photographic evidence, which will be uploaded to our workflow management system.
  • Interpreting and following plans, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of restoration services, including structural, fire and smoke, water and storm, mould, and biohazard related works.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Process survey data, plans and models using industrystandard software.
  • Calculating costs and estimating time scales and workflows.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in insurancerelated property restoration works, especially in relation to commercial and strata claims.
The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, with salaries starting from $70,000 per annum (excluding superannuation).

  • Expected salary: $70,000.
