Recruitment and Onboarding Officer (Full-Time/Part-Time)We are a busy NDIS provider based in Melbourne's western suburbs. Our main goal is to empower clients throughout their journey by delivering high quality individualised supports.
We are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment and Onboarding Officer to join the team.
This position will be based at our Melbourne head office in Sunshine, and can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Reporting to the Practice Manager-HR & Chief of Operations, you will primarily be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
We are looking for someone who is confident interacting with other people, both in person and over the phone. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, combined with flexibility, are also highly valued as you will be working in a fast paced environment where plans sometimes need to change-
Key responsibilities:_
- Manage the endtoend recruitment for field and office roles, including:
- Conducting phone screening and interviews
- Liaising with the hiring managers/Practice Manager to place successful applicants
- Booking preemployment medicals/checks if it is required
- Manage the onboarding of new employees
- Book inductions and coordinate training programs
- Ready and willing to work with the rostering team in allocating shifts to new employees
- Liaise with external clients (new and existing) and internal stakeholders
- Maintain the staff files by viewing the compliance registers on monthly basis (eg First Aid, CPR, Insurances)
- Willing to assist in general administrative duties to support the Rostering team, HR and Operations Support Teams as required.
What we are looking for:_
- A minimum of 1 year experience in recruitment, onboarding and/or mobilisation within a health industry is _
essential_ (preferably NDIS, but Aged Care or other Health sectors will also be considered) - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- High degree of organisational skills with the proven ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to exercise the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
- Team player and willingness to assist others
