What does the job look like?

The Transport Supervisor is to ensure the effective use of the company fleet and drivers within fatigue management guidelines in accordance with Linfox policies, legislative obligations and customer requirements.

This role will also be involved in the coordination of contractors where required as well as managing safety throughout direct areas of responsibility.

Key areas:

Support the implementation of the Linfox Safety Standards and through consultation and communication with site personnel
Ensure compliance with safety obligations under Linfox policies, procedures, customer requirements and legislative obligations
Monitor and supervise the health and safety performance within the area of responsibility
Daily check Fit for duties
Ensure maximum payloads are achieved to deliver acceptable commercial returns
Support the development and coordination of all weekly reports; ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner within the specified deadline

Are you the one?

You are a team player that can manage various stakeholders and prioritize tasks against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

You can demonstrate:

Strong history of transport scheduling/coordination, 2 years minimum
Excellent understanding of general freight operations including load restraint expertise
SAP experience desired
Previous experience is similar transport role
Working Knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations
High level of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word essential
