Draftsperson to our already amazing team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the Design Draftsperson is primarily responsible for obtaining design briefs and producing concept sketches whilst taking into account planning overlays and Rescode requirements to provide clients with a design for their site.

The Design Draftsperson will primarily prepare custom designs which will then be converted into working drawings.

The designs will consist of one off customs, dual occupancy and modifications to existing designs to provide clients with a solution suitable to the site whilst maintaining approved construction methods.

What you will bring to the role:

A minimum of 2-3 years previous residential design experience in Australia
Relevant tertiary building and construction qualifications.
Read and interpret architectural working drawings, engineering, soil reports and specifications
Excellent understanding of residential construction methods & NCC 220
Must have a strong attention to detail
Exceptional organization and time management skills
AutoCAD and ArchiCAD experience
Good Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
Experience reporting to customers and internal stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
