Regional Intake Officer - Full Time

About the role
The Intake Officer is responsible for providing prospective clients, caregivers and other stakeholders with information about Calvary Community Care and the services offered.
This includes providing prospective clients with information about Calvary Community Care services, funding arrangements, and transitioning customers through to service delivery.
The intake officer is responsible for triaging and collating detailed handover information to the appropriate service delivery team.
Reporting to Client Services Manager at the Hunter Service Centre, you will be answering phone calls, & web enquires regarding home care packages and liaising with My Aged Care for assistance on providing information regarding Calvary and the services they can provide.
Your main duties will include:
Liaising with potential new home care package clients
Accessing information within My Ages Care Portal
Liaising with case managers and service coordinators in NSW/ACT region
Data collecting
Entering client information in to various data bases
About you
Experience in the aged/disability/community/health sector;
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service to a diverse range of prospective customers, families, internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
High proficiency with MS Office programs along with demonstrated ability to accurately input data and maintain electronic records. Experience with CRM software preferred.
Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity through problem solving and being solutions focused
Able to work independently and within a team
A relevant tertiary qualification in the Aged/Disability/Community/Health sector is desirable.
