About the Clinical Nursing Education Department:

The Clinical Nursing Education Department provide Austin Health with contemporary, evidence-based clinical education programs with are congruent with organisational strategic goals.

As part of the Clinical Education Unit, the Clinical Nursing Education Department provides a clinical nursing education service to each of the clinical divisions, supporting educational programs and nursing staff.


About the role:


The Administration Officer will be responsible for providing professional and efficient administrative functions to support the Clinical Nursing Education Department.

This role is responsive to the needs of, and daily requirements of, the department.

A regular day will see you:

  • Provide direct adminstrative support to the Clinical Nursing Education Department team and key stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of continuous quality service improvement within the department and participate in activities designed to continuously improve standards of service and practice
  • Work to ensure changes are managed effectively within the team
  • Maintain a high level of customer service

About you:


You will be someone who has excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.


Ideally, you'll have:

  • Substantive administrative/secretarial/clerical experience
  • Highly developed skills in record keeping, collation of data and compiling reports
  • Ability to use initiative and work autonomously
  • Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
