As the Head, School of Policing Studies, you will have responsibility for the overall management and performance of the school in learning and teaching, and financial and resource management.

You will provide leadership and mentorship to ensure all areas of the school are operating efficiently and cohesively and is positively contributing to the mission and values of the Faculty and the University.

You will develop and maintain a strategic relationship with the NSW Police Force and other relevant stakeholders including government, industry, public sector organisations, professional bodies and community groups.


To be successful you will have:

  • A Masters or PhD in a discipline relevant to police education in an Australian context.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic management and accreditation processes and standards.
  • Demonstrated success in the leadership and management of teaching and learning development and delivery of an excellent student experience.
  • Strong people leader skills and experience with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships that deliver tangible benefits.
