Job Description:


Leidos and our clients select, procure, deploy, optimise, support, audit, and retire a wide array of enterprise class software assets.

The Software License Analyst provides assurance to our clients that Leidos is effectively tracking and managing the usage of their software within the boundaries of their licensing commitments.


We are seeking a talented operator with the passion to bring an enduring positive impression into our operations team and refine how processes and policies define our enablement culture.


Duties

  • Maintain a register of all purchased software licences and associated licence agreements within the ServiceNow CMS.
  • Collection, compilation, analysis, and presentation of software license related information to our client.
  • Provide license compliance status and advice to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and support of our clients Software Asset Management capability.
  • Assisting projects with the procurement of the correct software and license requirements.
  • Undertake / Manage regular audits of the CMS for Software Asset item data to identify all instances of installed/in use licenced software.
  • Develop and implement processes to remediate noncompliance and ensure the database reflects the production environment.
  • Work with Stakeholders on licence optimisation of installed/in use software.
  • Ongoing improvement of the Software Asset Management processes.

Qualifications:

We don't expect an applicant to have everything we list - we look after just too many systems. We offer a rich training program to cover what you don't know.

But any skillsets in the following it would be highly considered:


  • Minimum 1 year enterprise class software license experience e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, Citrix, VMWare, Adobe
  • Proficiency in data analysis with Microsoft Excel
  • Good report development skills
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Management system an advantage
  • Knowledge of other software licencing tools an advantage
  • CMDB experience an advantage
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation.

And of course, you need the usual:

  • Good presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Customer focused, demonstrating empathy with others, good listening and questioning skills
  • Solid technical, logical & problem solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills
  • Solid documentation skills
  • Detailoriented and accurate
  • Ability to work well with others, contribute to team values and rapportbuilding across the organisation
  • Effective prioritisation skills with the ability to execute tasks in a highpressure environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen with existing NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain.
