Role Overview:
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our NDIS services in Melbourne, including our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Group homes and community-based caseload.
As an integral part of our management team, the Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining compliance with NDIS guidelines, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations of Ace Care NDIS Services in Melbourne, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including support coordinators, guardians, government bodies, and NDIS representatives in Melbourne, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure that all services in Melbourne are delivered in accordance with NDIS guidelines and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
Team Leadership:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team across HR, marketing, and accounts departments, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Service Improvement:
Continually assess and refine service delivery methods in Melbourne to ensure participant satisfaction and meet the organization's objectives.
Reporting:
Provide regular reports on service delivery metrics, participant feedback, and any operational challenges to senior management in Melbourne.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure services are delivered within budget in Melbourne and identify opportunities for financial efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare management, social services, business administration).
Previous experience in a managerial role within the NDIS or similar healthcare services in Melbourne.
Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and compliance requirements in Melbourne.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in SIL Group homes in Melbourne.
Knowledge of Melbourne-specific NDIS regulations and requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused attitude.
