PERTH OFFICE
South32's corporate office is based in the heart of Perth's CBD. The corporate office houses key functions, including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical. Our office is a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

ABOUT THE ROLE


The Opportunity - Permanent, Full-Time Position; this role will preferably be based at our office in the heart of the Perth CBD.

We understand and value the benefits flexibility brings and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home)


This is an excellent opportunity for an
Executive Reward & Equity Specialist to join the Reward and benefits team and manage the delivery and governance of our South32 Share Plans across all South32 locations (currently ten countries) and two exchanges (Australian and Johannesburg stock exchanges), including cyclical project work (such as global equity grant and vesting events) and all associated communication and compliance activities.

In addition, the role will provide executive reward support and compete related projects on an ad hoc basis.

Reporting to the Principal, Executive Reward & Equity the key role responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  • Project manage the annual, global South32 share plan grant and vest events.
  • Complete periodic reporting requirements for other corporate teams including Finance, Company Secretary, and Tax.
  • Track and monitor the performance of performancetested equity awards and prepare periodic updates for upper management on the status.
  • Maintain and develop, where required, relevant Share Plan documentation, including Offer documents, employee engagement information, and procedural documentation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant experience in areas of Share Plan Management, including administration, participant engagement, employer reporting and taxation implications and legal considerations
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in a large, listed, multinational organisation.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly an ability to explain complex concepts to a broad range of employees and an ability to vary communication styles for differing audiences.
  • A proven ability to manage distinct projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort in producing both numerical and written work with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Relevant tertiary Qualification required
