About Our Client:

My client is a small & rapidly growing boutique investment company who have recently acquired multiple hospitality venues across Queensland.

With a tight knit culture & a history of tenure within the company (multiple staff with 10+ years in the business), they offer a collaborative and supportive culture.

This is a newly created position due to the growth & one the company intends on growing further as they continue to acquire new entities.

They are based out of modern offices in the heart of the CBD - a short walk from Central Station.

This is a hands on, payroll focused position but with other elements to ensure you're kept busy & engaged after completing all payroll duties.

Predominant duties include:

Processing pay for 200 staff across 3 entities. These are on a range of awards, predominantly the Hospitality & Restaurant awards.
Producing reports to support management with decision making i.e. labour reports, rostering, leave etc.
Supporting management with process & efficiency improvements
When not busy with payroll, duties include AP/AR & supporting HR with their activities.

Ultimately due to the size & structure of the business, you will be involved in a number of areas & be in a position to understand how the business is performing & help shape this.

The Successful Applicant:

Ideally some level of Excel competency will help, as will experience using FoundU.

You'll be able to work in the Brisbane CBD permanently and have full working rights in Australia.
