Here's what your day to day looks like:

  • Develop strong relationships with children at the service
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children
  • Maintain observations and records of individual children's progress
  • Rostering
  • Assisting with food preparations
  • Sharing your creativity with the whole team
  • Building positive relationships with children and families

Essential Criteria:


  • Completed ACECQA approved qualification (Diploma level or above) in childcare, school aged education and care or similar, NSW only: Completed Child Protection training 'CHCPRT02
  • Identify and respond to children and young people at risk' training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (SITXFSA001 + SITXFSA002)
  • Hold a valid NSW Working With Children check for Employees
  • Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Please check any further state specific certification requiewmwnts with the recruiter_

Desirable Criteria:


  • Previous OSHC experience will be highly regarded
