About the company:

***Our client is a large federal government agency focused on providing high quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services. They take pride on meeting client needs through a combination of proven clinical practices and new and emerging evidence-based approaches. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will work with a professional team who are all dedicated to making a different in the lives of their clients.


About the role:


  • Working in a contact centre, you will be providing high quality first point of contact customer service to individuals and their families requiring counselling and/or case management support.
  • Triaging and coordinating intakes and referrals Scheduling appointments for oneonone appointments or group counselling
  • Escalating cases complex or highrisk cases where relevant
  • Liaising and forming partnerships with other departments and organisations and community health and welfare agencies

About you:


  • You will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • You will have Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance (Blue Card) ideally, or have it granted before commencing the role.
  • Experience in a similar clinical role
  • A passion for clinical psychology and social work to support mental health initiatives.

Benefits:


  • Casual temp contract to start ASAP (pending federal police clearance)
  • 12month temporary contracts
- $60 per hour plus super Mon
  • Fri 7am 7pm, and $75 per hour plus super all other hours.
  • Full and part time opportunities (3 to 5 shifts per week) on a 24/7 roster system please note you will need to have flexibility to work evenings, overnights and weekends.
  • Brisbane CBD location
