About the role:


Based out of Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, our Account Manager is a trusted technology partner for our SMB customers.


You will:

  • Identify, develop and drive authentic relationships with our customers, key partners and vendors.
  • Develop a sales strategy for your allocated portfolio and manage pipeline effectively utilising CRM and Telstra systems full empowerment.
  • Deliver sales KPI's and build long term advocacy for the Telstra Brand through exploring customer needs and creating 'wholeofbusiness' technology solutions aligned to each customers technology strategy, delivering exceptional value and supporting their businesses to thrive.
  • Collaborate with our solution development teams and internal support teams to deliver technology solutions.
  • Be a product expert across Mobiles, ICT, Managed Services, Microsoft and Apps business solutions.
  • Drive your personal development around emerging technologies, ICT Solutions and industry insights.
  • Be accountable for completing sales related administration in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate authenticity, a high level of commercial acumen, and behaviours that are aligned with sharing knowledge across the business and working in a collaborative and compliant way.

About you:


You are driven to generate incremental revenue through your strength in building relationships, adding value through technology solutions, and building advocacy for the Telstra and Entag brands.


You:

  • Are highly experienced in small to medium business sales within the Telecommunications and/or ICT industries and previous Telstra experience will be highly regarded.
  • Ideally you have experience in Managed Services Sales (highly regarded).
  • Are an advocate of and have demonstrated success in consultative, relationshipbased sales methodologies.
  • Possess a strong solution focused mindset across industry insights.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills through establishing priorities and dealing with conflicting work pressures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, take ownership and act on commitments.
  • Are resilient and able to deal with change and ambiguity in a fastpaced environment.
