Description

The Resources Officer provides administration and communications support to effectively coordinate, maintain, and deliver academic school related facilities and resources.

You will work closely with the Space & Resources Coordinator to ensure services are delivered in accordance with university policies and procedures in all areas of space allocation, asset management, purchasing, and maintenance.


The position will proactively administer maintenance-related work requests, and liaise within the Facilities, Assets and Campus Services Division to ensure that academic stakeholders are informed of impact and resolution through timely electronic communication and notices.


About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers of the University and the academic schools.
  • Recommend changes to current processes and practices to improve customer focused service delivery.
  • Build and maintain positive ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders that enhance the University's ability to respond to demands and to hold correct and current information.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally within a team to attain common goals for the Academic Schools and University and assist with major Faculty/University activities.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree
  • Previous experience in an administrative and/or resource support position, preferably in a large multifaceted organisation.
