Barwon Health provides a public, clinical, mental health drug and alcohol service for people living in the Barwon region (Including Greater Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and Colac-Otway regions).

We deliver a range of specialist community and hospital-based services for all ages who are experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol challenges.


About the Role


The Safety, Quality and Improvement Coordinator (SQIC) provides expert clinical knowledge and leadership to the Directorate regarding safety, quality, improvement and clinical governance activities.

The SQIC works as a part of the MHDAS Quality Program directly reporting the Director of Nursing with professional accountability to the Director Safety, Quality and Improvement Unit within Barwon Health.

Significant leadership experience.

Completion of or currently progressing towards a post graduate qualification in leadership or management.
