About the Opportunity

As a Quality Control Supervisor, you'll lead the Quality Control team in conducting vital testing and inspections, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards.

You'll collaborate with diverse teams, reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, and play a pivotal role in maintaining an exceptional reputation in the medical device industry.


Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team's performance and development.
  • Coordinate and oversee comprehensive testing and inspections of raw materials, finished goods, and inprocess items.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established procedures and standards throughout the quality control process.
  • Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to interpret work instructions and maintain process compliance.
  • Effectively handle nonconforming goods, participate in investigations, and assist in finding solutions to quality challenges.
  • Maintain and create Quality Records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support validation and internal audit activities as requested by senior management.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant technical qualification in a technical, engineering or science related discipline relevant to medical device manufacturing
  • 3 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality related role
  • Proven qualityrelated experience
  • Proficiency in ERP/software systems
  • Experience leading/managing a team
