The Role


Our Sydney Office is currently seeking a resourceful, proactive and tenacious Research Associate with high levels of energy to join our industry-leading research team.


This individual will play a significant role in the delivery of executive search assignments for our clients across all industries: leading listed companies and privately-owned firms as well as public and social sector organisations.

They will enjoy the challenge of working internally with a variety of consultants, and externally with senior executives and board directors.

Associates represent the firm with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

The role is full time in the office.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of a search strategy;
  • Effectively manage the search process, balancing multiple projects within agreed time frames;
  • Produce comprehensive researchdriven reports;
  • Maintain the highest quality information on the database, including the timely and rigorous capture of insight gathered during the course of search work.
  • Conduct background research to deliver market insight in the form of credible, clientready documentation;
  • Contribute to relationship management, business generation as well as marketing activities; and,
  • Attend client meetings and pitches.
  • Work closely with the research team to capture both search and nonsearch related information in the system; and,
  • Grow and develop sectorspecific domain knowledge to use intelligently on sourcing and approach calls.
  • Contribute actively to initiatives to improve the firm's service offering; and,
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.

Key Relationships

  • Managing Associate (reports to);
  • Partners/Consultants (dotted line reporting on assignment and project basis);
  • Project Managers; and,
  • Research Team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce, Law, Psychology, Arts/Social Sciences, Engineering, or another relevant discipline;
  • At least three years of experience in a business environment post degree;
  • Previous experience in the research function of an executive search firm or data gathering and analysis; and,
  • Adjacent experience: Recruitment, Internal Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, Market Research, Journalism, Legal.

$50, $70,000.00 per year
