About the Role


YMCA WA is currently seeking
a Permanent Full-Time Assistant Early Childhood Educator to join our team providing a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for our children and families.


Duties

  • Record observations of individual children or groups
  • Implement a program that reflects children's interest, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning
  • Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
  • Create positive relationships with children and families and team members

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
  • HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
  • Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
