About this role

Do you have a passion for geospatial technologies and a desire to make a positive impact on the world? As a Geospatial Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, data management, spatial analysis, and visualisation skills to Arup on various projects.

Your responsibilities will include delivering a full suite of geospatial solutions, providing ongoing support for the use of ArcGIS products, and coordinating technical geospatial activities for environmental, planning, and infrastructure projects.

What will I do?

  • Deliver and coordinate geospatial solutions, including spatial analysis, data management, cartography, and technical consultancy for environmental, planning, and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide ongoing support for ArcGIS products, ArcGIS Enterprise, and FME.
  • Seek to automate spatial tasks using FME or ArcPy.
  • Develop relationships with internal technical specialists and skills groups to build new opportunities to deploy Geospatial technology.

What will I bring?

  • Relevant experience in geospatial or earth observation.
  • Proficiency in industrystandard geospatial software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS, FME).
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • An attitude that is willing to learn and develop skills, and is willing to invest time to build strong relationships with project teams and internal team members.
