The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an
Operations Coordinator for Day Shift to join our team
at our
Archerfield Manufacturing site
.

The facility consists of four departments, Sheetmetal, Structural, Roofing & Walling and Shed Consolidation. The role available will see you manage, lead, and develop our highly motivated Sheetmetal team of 18 staff. All manufacturing supervisors report into and are supported by the Production Manager.

What Will You Do?
As someone who is committed to the safety of their team and delivering on customer expectations you will be:

lead and supervise our operations area including production scheduling, machine operation and maintenance

- support and assist your team with daily operational activities
- lead and control inventory integrity within the site warehouse and ensuring accuracy of stock holding at all times
- identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- grow and mentor your team to develop their technical capability

Proven experience in managing operational departments and managing safety
