We're currently working with a Victorian-based utilities company who are undertaking a major HRIS implementation project and looking to bring on a Systems Lead for a 9 month initial term contract.
As the HR Systems Lead, you'll be leading a small, dynamic team, acting as the central point for all HR systems issues.
Your focus will be on the BAU aspects of HR systems, with a particular emphasis on UKG Workforce Ready.Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in troubleshooting schedules, conducting deep dives into system issues, and communicating effectively with the support team to resolve HR systems challenges.
- Work closely with the hiring manager to navigate the golive of a new system, providing hyper care for extensions, and ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders.
- Drive changes to enterprise agreements, collaborating with vendors to implement these changes and ensure a smooth transition for all employees.
- Utilize Chris21 expertise to manage employee files and leave balances, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in HRIS operations.
- Engage in stakeholder discussions, gathering feedback, and driving system improvements to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and automation, contributing to the continuous evolution of the HR systems landscape.
Required Skills & Specialisms:
- Tertiary education in Business. IT or HR (preferred).
- Proven experience with UKG Workforce Ready, Chris21 and Kronos.
- Ability to conduct deep dives into system issues, troubleshoot schedules, and communicate effectively with the support team and stakeholders.
- A keen interest in HR systems space, with a focus on BAU operations and a knack for resolving complex system issues.
- Ability to work closely with the hiring manager and support team, as well as engage in stakeholder discussions to drive system improvements.
- Experience in making changes to enterprise agreements and working with UKG to implement these changes seamlessly.
- Proficiency in Chris21, with the ability to manage employee files and leave balances effectively.
- Willingness to navigate a new system golive and provide hyper care for extensions, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
