Job Title:
Disability Support Worker - Asian Cultural Understanding


Responsibilities:


  • Providing personal care and support to the participant in accordance with their care plan
  • Facilitating participation in daily activities and community events
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care provided
  • Collaborating with the participant's family and care team to ensure the best outcomes for the participant

Prerequisites for this role include:

  • Competent written and verbal communication
  • All applicants must have a relevant Visa or working right in Australia.
  • Valid National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children's check (WWC)
  • Current and Valid Drivers License and own reliable vehicle with valid insurance
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
  • NDIS worker orientation Module
  • NDIS Covid19 infection control training

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Certificate IV in Disability and 6 months industry experience, or equivalent certificate in age care etc.
  • Ability to speak one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Korean, or Indonesian
