Our client is an Australian owned, family business that specialises in the manufacture of domestic watering products, lighting, garden décor and plumbing fittings.


Based in Geebung, an opportunity currently exists for a Trades Qualified Maintenance Fitter / Toolmaker to join their team on a Full Time Day Shift Roster.

Hours of work will be 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday with occasional OT.

Duties will include preventative and breakdown maintenance of Production Machinery, Conveyors and Packaging Equipment. Previous experience in Plastic Injection Mould servicing and repair will be highly regarded.

To be successful you will be a solid all round Tradesperson with the following:

  • Certificate 3 in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting Machining, Toolmaking etc)
  • Ability to operate standard workshop tooling and machines including Lathe, Drill and Milling Machine.
  • Ability to fabricate and weld replacement parts
  • Previous experience in Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems.
Additionally, you will need to be able to successfully complete a Pre Employment Drug Screen and Physical Functional assessment.

Salary:
$80, $85,000.00 per year
