Due to an internal promotion, Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Service & Warranty Support Advisor.

Reporting into the National Service Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the TMHA National Network in areas of warranty administration and processing, service based customer activities and first level technical support.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Administer, adjudicate and process all type of warranty claim/credits between the Branch to Head Office and Head Office to OEM in strict accordance with TMHA and OEM factories warranty policies and procedure to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Setup, maintain and manage current warranty systems and documentation to allow effective / efficient processing of claims and factory service campaigns (100% completion) for current and new products.
  • Manage parts returned process from the TMHA network to OEM factories in regard to warranty claims.
  • Investigate and analyse parts/component returned for warranty consideration.
  • Create and provide monthly warranty, financial and requested management reporting.
  • Deliver system training as required to end users either onsite or remotely.
  • Provide technical support to the TMHA network related to service and as directed by National Service Manager.
  • Create and/or distribute service bulletins for the TMHA network (local and factory).
  • Communicate required technical information in a clear, concise and prompt manner within the TMHA network and OEM factories.
  • Recommend process/product improvement opportunities to National Service Manager.
  • Undertake other National Servicerelated functions as directed by National Service Manager.
  • Assist Technical Trainer/Advisors (TTA) in technical reports and liaising with OEM factory representatives in regard to technical items.

Experience and Skills:


  • Material Handling industry or relevant industry experience.
  • Previous experience in a client/customer facing role.
  • Previous experience with spare parts.
  • Previous experience working with an OEM.
  • Trade Qualification within industry recognised trades preferred, not essential.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical knowledge to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and general PC skills
