Stake is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team at our Bondi Junction HQ, with a flexible hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 WFH).

About this role
Sitting within the Legal Compliance and Risk Team and reporting to the Head of the Team, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of Stake's compliance framework for the markets of Australia and New Zealand


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Considering regulatory changes relevant to Stake's business;
  • Reviewing and advising on Stake's policies and procedures;
  • Overseeing Stake's compliance training program; and
  • Monitoring compliance within the business and preparing reports.

A bit about you

  • Previous experience in a compliance role, ideally in a licensed financial services business;
  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification in law, finance or other related field;
  • Experience dealing with regulatory bodies, ideally including ASIC
The following are not considered essential for the role but will be viewed favourably:

  • Experience with other regulators such as AUSTRAC or Office of the Australian Information Commissioner;
  • Experience gained in the funds management sector; or

Experience with the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) in NZ and NZ financial regulation framework
