The Population Health Division is responsible in exercising statutory responsibilities on behalf of the Chief Health Officer to prevent and manage risks to the health of the ACT population, including planning and management of public health incidents and emergencies.
Under the direction of an Assistant Director, Project Officers will be responsible for a range of tasks appropriate to this level of classification which may include contributing to the drafting of plans, policies and procedures, along with direct support to external stakeholders.
You will be required to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders and provide advice and information on resources relating to the management of outbreaks of infectious diseases.
