The Company


Skyspan Australia is a growing business with a 40 year history in the Skylight industry, based in Baulkham Hills NSW.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a new member to our dynamic multi-cultural team. We have an opening for an Accounts Assistant to work on site.


About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Assistant. The role will involve a variety of bookkeeping and financial tasks to support the operations of Skyspan. It is an ongoing long-term role that also provides many opportunities for further advancement into other operational positions.

This role is critical to our work with varied tasks.

On a daily basis you will be working on the following but not limited to:


  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivables
  • Answering debtor queries
  • Debt Collection
  • Invoicing customers
  • Reconciling daily accounts
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, or staff on an ongoing basis as required
  • Undertaking EOQ and EOFY activities and reporting

Skills and experience

  • 12 years accounting role with exposure to accounts payable and bank reconciliations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats and take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Highly organised with excellent time management abilities
  • The ability to work autonomously with little direction
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
  • Preferable to have experience with NetSuite
