The company:

This company is a an award winning Global freight forwarding & logistics provider that has over 200 offices worldwide and specialises in air, ocean, customs brokerage, warehousing, import/export, project and supply chain management.

They have their own warehouse & brokerage facilities, their modern head office facilities are based in Banksmeadow, and have onsite parking available to staff.

The role:

The company is seeking an experienced import air freight operator to join their current team of - initially responsible for all things import air operations and then cross trained in other operational roles (import/export - air, sea & cartage) using cargowise as their operating system - you will need prior experience in import air operations so you can hit the ground running in this fast paced environment.

Daily duties of an import sea operator:
Job registration, monitoring cargo availability and status, air cargo reporting, organising & lodging under-bond movements, finalising invoices to clients and overseas agents, third party billings, collection & handover of delivery orders and EDO's, outturn reports, pre-alerts & arrival notices, liaising with airlines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff
