Your Role:


Due to our continued growth we're seeking an
Aviation Safety Specialist to join the team who will assist with maintaining our compliance to both the Civil and Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.

The role will monitor and ensure the effectiveness of the Aviation Safety Management System across the Sustainment and Modernisation Services Operating Unit (SMS OU).


As the Aviation Safety Specialist, you will bring a high level of passion and drive for the Aviation and Aerospace industry along with a dedication to continued personal and professional growth.

Having had experience working in Aviation Safety in either a civil or Defence regulatory environment, you have the ability to assist with audits and investigations, conduct periodic reviews of documented processes, and deliver Safety Management System training to support regulatory and contractual requirements.


With a focus on safety, outcomes are key here so we are looking for a high level of attention to detail combined with an engaging approach to collaborating with both internal stakeholders and the customer.

Everyone Matters:

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

You will also need to satisfy pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks and employment screening verification.


This position reports to Amberley, Queensland, AUS, however, this position can also be worked from Springfield Central, Queensland, Queensland, AUS.
