**The Opportunity

The Quality & Excellence Specialist's responsibility is to ensure the products Woolworths Supermarkets sell are maintained to the high quality standard our customers are accustomed to.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will be the primary contact for all things food safety for our Wodonga site and your primary objective will be to implement and maintain critical controls from the Quality and Excellence Program.

**Key Responsibilities: - Assemble a HACCP team responsible for implementing and maintaining the HACCP system methodology within the scope of the Quality and Excellence Program

  • Perform the weekly verification of support programs via observations taken during all site inspections / walkthroughs
  • Facilitate the closure of CARS or any food safety non conformances raised or received
  • Identify and investigate any nonconformances, determine and implement the appropriate corrective actions
  • Perform the internal audit of the food safety controls and processes in the DC
  • Liaise with external auditors, assisting and confirming DC processes and the closing out of NCRs raised Maintain the calibration and scheduling of all testing, measuring and inspection equipment, including record keeping and service reports

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a passionate and meticulous Quality Assurance professional who will have:

  • HACCP accreditation (preferred, but not essential)
  • Qualifications equivalent to a Diploma and/or Degree
  • Proven experience in FMCG distribution centre or warehousing environment
  • Demonstrated skills in administration, the use of technology and time management
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates logical thinking and effective problemsolving approaches
  • Proactively seeks continuous improvement methods
  • Motivated, confident and enthusiastic Ability to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
