Role Objective
A Software QA Test Engineer is responsible in executing test and creating a well-structured test cases and test plans, and documentation.
Responsibilities - Responsible in conducting the 9 stages of software quality assurance on each and consolidated modules endorsed by the Developer/s by detecting the bugs and issues before it is endorsed to UAT and PROD
- Ability to create test matrix before an actual QA testing is executed
- Ability to identify the severe, major and minor bugs
- Prepare detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Analyze bugs and errors found during test
- Document result of tests for the software development team
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
- Research new tools, technologies and testing processes
- Reports directly to SQA Manager
Qualifications - A minimum of 4 years progressive work experience as a Software Quality Assurance Test engineer with comprehensive hands-on execution of the following:
- Functionality testing
- Usability testing
- Data Accuracy and Integrity testing
- Time and Motion testing
- Cross browser or cross mobile compatibility testing
- Regression testing
- Performance load testing
- Stress testing
- Penetration and Security testing
- API Testing
- Automated testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or any similar field of study
- Experience using IBM Rationale, Selenium and/or Cypress or any automated testing tools is an advantage but optional
- Experience using Jira, or any project management tool or bug tracking tool is an advantage
