About Us


Inner Active Pelvic Health is a clinic that takes pride in providing specialized services in rehab and values holistic patient care.

Our clinic offers services in pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic health, and cancer rehabilitation. This clinic is a new extension of the practice that currently expands services in and around Bundoora and Mernda. The new clinic will be housing treatment rooms and large exercise space.


It is surrounded by amenities:
childcare, cafes, shopping center, and factory outlets, hotels, gymnasiums, and medical all within easy walking distance.


About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Welcome clients and visitors with care and attend to them promptly in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensuring that all inquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage all patient appointments including scheduling, confirmations and cancellations.
  • Processing patient information and accounts on clinical software.
  • Processing payments through EFTPOS and HiCAPS systems.
  • Liaising with Insurers and Government departments such as Medicare & DVA.
  • Maintain a diary of administration staff, clinic therapists, and opening hours.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient records.
  • Presenting the clinic in its best environment with tidiness cleanliness and safety.
  • Handling other clinicspecific tasks as refill of creams, gel, towels, hand wash, toilet paper, exercise sheets, forms, etc.

Skills/Experience:


  • Experience as a receptionist / medical receptionist / administrative assistant is preferred.
  • Compassionate understanding of patient care
  • Proactive; has the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • A high degree of accountability and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A positive, motivated "can do" attitude with a passion for people.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to clinical excellence
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
  • Previous experience in the allied health industry is preferred but not essential.


Availability to work a flexible roster offering permanant hours for Tuesdays 0900 to 1700 pm required at the start, opportunities for casual fill in throughout the week and progression of hours with Saturdays 9 am to 2 pm (as from March 2023).
