Day Shift Production Supervisor Required to Join our Plant in Dandenong, Victoria

We're seeking a highly organised Production Supervisor (Day Shift) to join our Bristile Roofing site in Dandenong, Victoria. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures and ensuring safe and smooth production operation during shift.

Duties include but are not limited to

Communicate and maintain shift standards and working schedules for production including putting in place proactive measures to ensure schedules are achieved for the benefit of all shifts.
Cooperate with sales, quality control, safety, logistics and maintenance staff to ensure optimum production performance in accordance with requirements.
Coordinate the maintenance of production machinery through the maintenance department.
Strive for first quality product always and ensure compliance with all quality systems and processes.
Accountable for recognition, discipline, safety and training of operators on their shift, including shift toolboxes.
Initiate and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects that target improvement in KPI results.
Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHS policies and procedures.
Conform to meet environmental responsibilities.
Complete daily shift reports.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach, evaluate and develop a team.

Positive attitude a strong work ethic.
