My client is a leader in home care services in Sydney and Tasmania. They are looking for an idealFleet Manager who will manage the company's fleet of vehicles by overseeing all vehicle activities, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs, enforcing the company car policy, arranging insurance and registration, and maintaining operational efficiency across the fleet throughout the year; fleet management will also require the successful applicant to remain on
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed records of sales, registration, inspections, servicing, and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
- Reporting expenses and performance of the fleet to upper management.
- Registering and licensing all VHHS vehicles.
- Reporting all workrelated vehicle incidents and accidents to management.
- Manage, enforce and update (as needed) the VHHS Company Car Policy and Agreement
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilising GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
- Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with government rules and regulations.
- Work after hours and remain on call Monday to Friday (after business hours) and on weekends for any adhoc tasks and vehicle issues as they occur.
General
- Communicate with staff, clients and other external parties in a professional, courteous and respectful manner
- Adhere to the CHSP, NDIS and ACQSC standards and the policies and procedures of VHHS
- Maintain qualifications and registrations as required by the position
- Perform any reasonable additional tasks as directed by management
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years fleet management or supervisory experience
- High level of computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operation, Gmail and Adobe (MUST-HAVE and MUST BE PROFICIENT)
- Excellent ability to manage large numbers of edocuments and efolders on Windows
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and conflictresolution skills
- High attention to detail.
- Proactive and professional approach to work.
Job Types:

Salary:
$65, $70,000.00 per year
