We're on the hunt for an A-grade OSHC Coordinator to lead a team of educators throughout the School Holidays at The King David School in Toorak, a progressive Jewish school established on the principles of inclusion, egalitarianism and social justice.


KidsCo Australia is creating the next generation of AWESOME We provide innovative high quality After School Care, Before School Care and Vacation Care programs for school aged children, parents, and school communities.

Our programs are designed by experts to produce fun engaging environments that enable children to explore, learn and play with KidsCo.


As the Director of Learning, you'll be the hero who leads a team of educators to provide engaging, compliant, and super awesome care programs for kids.

You will be a role-model for research-based best practice to ensure every child in your care has the BEST DAY EVER

You will ensure that every kid in your service is having a blast in a safe and supportive environment.

You will collaborate with your educators and other Directors of Learning around Victoria to develop creative ideas for activities that will make the kids' jaws drop and keep them coming back for more.

You'll also be the go-to person for the school, families and other stakeholders, who trust you to keep the show running smoothly.

This is a contract position from Monday 26th June - Friday 7th of July, 38 hours per week. Flexible hours between 8am and 5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage the daytoday operation of the centre and its services.
  • Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment
  • Support the delivery of a highquality curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
  • Ensure the Centre is compliant with all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with the focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children.
  • Support and manage a team of casual educators that report to you.
About You

You are an energetic, passionate educator and leader, with experience gained in a similar education, childcare or management role. You are engaging and enthusiastic with experience to do things differently and challenge the status quo. You are driven by a continuous improvement mindset.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace a diverse range of responsibilities and love to be a part of a high performing team.

To Be Successful


Must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or Diploma level qualification in the field of Childcare or Education.


  • Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment
